Deputy Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs: The Cost Of Treating Victims Of Explosions At The SMAN 72 Mosque Is Borne By The Government
JAKARTA - Deputy Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Wamenko Polkam) Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus conducted a review of the victims of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta, at the Cempaka Putih Islamic House, Central Jakarta.
Lodewijk said as many as 27 victims of the explosion were undergoing intensive treatment at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital. He hopes that the victims can recover soon.
"We are only checking that there are 27 victims here, everything is being handled by the hospital, and we pray that they can recover soon," he said.
Lodewijk ensured that the government would bear the financing of the victims of the explosion.
"Yes, of course it is overcome (the cost of treatment), it will not be allowed," he explained.

Previously, it was reported that Deputy Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Wamenko Polkam) Lodewijk Fredrich revealed that the weapon found at the explosion site of SMAN 72 Kodamar, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, was a toy weapon.
"There was a picture of it, but it turned out to be a toy gun. A toy weapon, not a real weapon. After we checked it was a toy gun." Lodewijk at SMAN 72 Kelapa Gading, Friday, November 7th.
Lodewijk also said that when the explosion occurred, there was two explosions during the day during Friday prayers at the mosque.
"In (the explosion) which was clear at 12.15 earlier, at the mosque or the prayer room at SMA 72. There was an explosion. And there was two explosions. First at the back, second near the door of the prayer room or mosque. Then another fact, there were victims. There were 20 victims that happened." he said.
