As A Suspect In The Jokowi Ijazah Allegation Case, Roy Suryo Cs Will Be Summoned To Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will summon eight suspects in defamation and slander cases related to the alleged fake diploma of former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Of course, after this we will send a summons to the person concerned," said Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Iman Imanuddin, to the media at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, November 7, 2025.

Iman hopes that these suspects can fulfill the summons in order to provide further information.

"The person concerned as a citizen to convey his clarification in the form of a report was also fulfilled by the person concerned," he said.

Iman revealed that the investigation process is still ongoing and further investigation is still being carried out. Regarding the continuation of the process, it is explained that investigators work as a unit with the public prosecutor in the criminal justice system.

"We continue to coordinate related to the progress of handling this case. Yes, of course, in terms of prosecution, it is also to be faced in court. So that it can provide a sense of justice for the people of Indonesia,"

Iman also explained that the two clusters in the case were based on the results of the investigation. The cluster determination is carried out in accordance with the facts found by investigators and related to legal acts committed by each suspect.

According to him, the distribution of the cluster will determine the form of legal responsibility that must be faced by the suspects. Thus, the cluster is determined based on the actions they have done.

"So this cluster is based on what he has done," he concluded.
