Ammar Zoni Complains It's Difficult To Communicate With Lawyers, Exception Trial Postponed
JAKARTA - Actor Ammar Zoni again voiced his complaint in the middle of a narcotics case trial which was held online.
During the trial, Ammar expressed the extreme difficulties he and the other defendants faced to communicate with the legal advisory team. This condition made the agenda of reading the objection note (exception) threatened that it could not be implemented.
In front of the panel of judges, Ammar explained that communication with lawyers was very limited. In fact, he admitted that he was not given a stationery to write down the points of his personal defense.
"How can we hold this exception trial if my communication with legal advisors is limited," Ammar Zoni complained via video connection at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday, November 6.
"Then, we also don't get papers and pens to write down personal exceptions from each of us," he continued.

"While we are meeting or talking to new lawyers at this time," he said.
When asked further by the panel of judges, Ammar emphasized that he did not have the opportunity to have direct contact with legal advisors outside the court.
"Not yet possible, Your Majesty. Not yet, not at all," he concluded.
