Prabowo Will Inaugurate A Chemical Factory From South Korea Worth IDR 66.4 Trillion In Cilegon

BANTEN President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate PT Lotte Chemical Indonesia (LCI) in Rawa Arum Village, Grogol District, Cilegon City, Thursday, November 6.

The investment value of the chemical factory PT LCI is US$4 billion or equivalent to Rp 66.5 trillion.

The investment is the first Petrochemical investment in Indonesia and is the largest. The investment has been realized 100 percent.

PT LCI plans to produce 1 million tonnes of ethylene, 520,000 tonnes of propylene, and 250,000 tonnes of polypropylene per year.

To reporters some time ago, Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said, Danantara would review Lotte Chemical's offer to invest by offering 35 percent of the shares.

As is known, PT Lotte Chemical Indonesia is a petrochemical company that focuses on producing chemicals with the vision of becoming an industry leader through advanced and sustainable technology.

Founded in Indonesia and operating with facilities in Cilegon, Banten, the company produces products such as olefin, aromatics, and polymers for various industries. LCI is part of a group of giant chemical companies, Lotte Chemical Corporation, which is centered in South Korea.
