BNN RI Has Analysis Of The Resistance Of The Kampung Bahari Group During The Raid

JAKARTA - The resistance of drug cartels in Kampung Bahari, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, turned out to have been anticipated by members of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency and police officers before carrying out the raid.

"When we went there, we thought, we had recognized and anticipated If there was a fight, it turned out to be true," said the Director of Enforcement and Pursuit of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency, Brigadier General Roy Hardi Siahaan, Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Brigadier General Roy said the resistance was carried out by community groups who were in one circle at that location.

"People in the location 'circle' resisted using samurai. Put out fireworks and firecrackers for us to block. At least intimidate us at the crime scene," he said.

Brigadier General Roy said the police had succeeded in anticipating the disturbance of order and the drug operation went smoothly.

"Fortunately we can anticipate and everything is going smoothly. So far we have seen no (members of the wound)," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the headquarters for drug trafficking in the Kampung Bahari area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, was raided by joint police from BNN RI and Brimob Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

18 dealers and users consisting of 17 men and 1 woman were arrested along with evidence.

From observations, dozens of Brimob troops equipped with tear gas and shields, actually received resistance from a mass group suspected of being ordered by the Kampung Bahari drug cartel.
