Not Talking About Gono-gini Assets, Attorney Confirms Andre Taulany's Lawsuit Is Purely Divorce
JAKARTA Andre Taulany's legal team confirmed that the divorce suit filed by his client was purely only aimed at ending the marriage bond, without being accompanied by demands of Gono-gini assets.
"In the lawsuit from the start, I need to explain, we agreed with Andre that what was filed was only a divorce suit," said Fahmi Bachmid, Andre's attorney, at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, November 5.
"So our lawsuit is only a divorce suit, there is no lawsuit against property," he continued.
Fahmi also explained that even though there was a peace certificate, the contents of the document only emphasized the agreement of both parties to divorce peacefully. If there is a discussion about property, it is done outside the context of a court lawsuit.
"The peace agreement only confirmed the existence of divorce and agreement to separate properly. This means that this decision only discusses divorce," he said.
"So pure, pure, only a divorce suit," added Fahmi.
Meanwhile, Rien Wartia Trigina alias Erin's legal team, Wahyu Purnomo, ensured that there were no disputes regarding child custody.
Given that their children have grown up, both parties agreed to give full freedom for children to choose to live with anyone.
"The children are all big, so they are flexible. Sometimes at the applicant's place, sometimes in the respondent's place," explained Wahyu.

"No one forbids each other, no one limits each other," he concluded.
