DNA Test Results Of Two Human Skeletons Announced The Day After Tomorrow, Police Present Family
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya plans to announce the results of the investigation regarding the discovery of two human skeletons in the Kwitang area, Central Jakarta, on Friday, November 7, 2025, to come. This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations (Head of Public Relations) of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto.
"We plan to release it, it is possible on Friday, related to the discovery of two human skeletons," he said, Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
Budi explained that in the release a number of parties involved in the discovery and investigation process, including representatives of PT ACC who first found the skeleton, investigators from the Central Jakarta Police and the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, the family, and the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS) who previously reported cases of missing persons.
In addition, the police will also present a forensic doctor from the Kramatjati Police Hospital who conducted DNA tests on the two skeletons.
"Including later we will hear directly about the explanation from the forensic doctor of the National Police Hospital regarding the results of the examination of bone and tooth DNA," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the police confirmed the findings of two human skeletons in a building that caught fire during a demonstration at the end of August 2025.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the police are currently still investigating the findings.
