Still Traumatized, Victims Of Obscenity Of Biological Fathers Placed In Safe Houses

JAKARTA - The victim of sexual abuse with the initials E (12) carried out by his own biological father with the initials T was finally placed in a safe house for a trauma healing process.

"So now we place the child in one of the safe houses to monitor, and for psychological assistance," said Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission for Child Protection, Lia Latifah when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Lia said the victim was still traumatized by the incidents she had experienced over the years. Moreover, the perpetrator is his own biological father.

"It's still traumatized, isn't it the child," he said.

In addition, the victim was also afraid to meet the perpetrator even though his own biological father. Komnas PA also provides assistance to victims for psychological recovery.

"When we accompanied him, our team from the National Commission for Child Protection also gave indepth that this child no longer wanted to return to his father's house and he asked for protection," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a 12-year-old girl who was the victim of sexual abuse by her biological father with the initials T was still traumatized.

Especially if the victim remembers the incident, the victim still continues to cry.

"(if) considering the incident, there is still fear. Then still crying," Lia Latifah told VOI, Monday, November 3, 2025.

In fact, the victim had told himself that the obscene perpetrator could be severely punished for his actions.

"Finally he (the victim) asked that his father be punished severely. Because he did not accept it, because it has been done by the perpetrator since he was a child (when he was 8 years old)," he said.
