Police Arrest Thief At Sunter Kemayoran Gas Station

The Tanjung Priok Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested the perpetrator of the theft at the Pertamina gas station, Jalan Sunter Kemayoran, Sunter Jaya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Priok Police, AKP Handam Samudro, said the incident occurred on Friday, October 31, 2025.

The perpetrator with the initials A (38) was arrested along with evidence of a stolen motorbike. Currently, the perpetrator is still being investigated further.

"Currently, we are still in the process of investigating and searching for other perpetrators and development is still being carried out if there are other crime scenes as well," said AKP Handam when confirmed, Tuesday, November 4.

The incident occurred at around 14.00 WIB, when the Tanjung Priok Police's opsnal team received information from the public that 1 man was arrested suspected of stealing a motorbike at a gas station.

"The perpetrator was arrested by residents because he was caught pushing someone else's motorbike to steal. So, residents who saw the perpetrator's movements felt suspicious and finally told other people around the crime scene, then the perpetrators were arrested and residents contacted the Tanjung Priok Criminal Investigation Unit for further investigation," he said.

After the Criminal Investigation personnel arrived and a search was carried out, he continued, evidence of the key T. The perpetrator was found and then secured for development.

"The perpetrator admitted that he committed theft together with his friend, initials B (DPO) using the perpetrator's Honda Beat motorbike," he said.

Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the Tanjung Priok Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
