JAKARTA - Australian athlete Torah Bright recently shared a controversial photo on Instagram. The woman, who recently had a baby boy, celebrated her first Mother's Day on May 9 by posting a nude photo.

The Olympic gold medalist posted a candid photo of herself breastfeeding her little one while doing a handstand. yes, she's wearing only panties.

"Being a mother has let go of something inside me", she captioned her post reported from E Online.

"My prayer for all mothers, now and in the future is for them to be heard. Honorable. Respected and encouraged to believe their intuition".

However, according to the 34-year-old athlete, not everyone is happy with the photo.

"Reading some of these comments makes me sad", she wrote on her expired Instagram Story, according to Austrian site news.com.au.

"In my world, I have to be a leader who entertains each other (it's quite difficult)", she continued. "Embrace our weirdness and find joy in everything that relates to motherhood. We all do it differently. That's not wrong or right. Being a mother is pure".

"I NOW only consider myself Wonder Woman because I have joined the sacred MOTHERS club", she revealed, adding, "There is nothing but respect for all mothers".

Before closing the post, the professional snowboarder left another encouraging message to parents. "Love to all the mothers who need it now. I support you... You're not alone".

Torah also explained that she is not "looking for praise" but wants to remind people that everyone's motherly journey is different and unique.
