Crypto Tax Revenue Reaches IDR 1.71 Trillion, Tokocrypto Values Industry Grows Healthy

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance reported that tax revenues from crypto asset transactions reached IDR 1.71 trillion, until the end of September 2025.

Tokocrypto CEO, Calvin Kizana, said that crypto tax revenues, which nearly penetrated Rp2 trillion, reflect healthy and sustainable growth in the national digital asset industry.

"We appreciate the achievement of crypto tax revenues that show a positive direction. With the increasing trend of transactions and interest of investors, we are optimistic that the crypto tax revenue target can exceed IDR 2 trillion by the end of 2025," Calvin said in a statement.

Meanwhile, according to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the transaction value of national crypto assets during January 'September 2025 reached IDR 360.3 trillion, an increase from IDR 276.45 trillion in January' July 2025.

This increase indicates that consumer confidence and national crypto market stability are maintained amidst global dynamics.

However, Calvin assessed that uncertain global macroeconomic conditions would be a challenge for crypto market growth in the fourth quarter of this year.

"We see that the market is indeed experiencing a correction phase, but this is a healthy correction, not a bearish sign. In fact, this provides space for stronger growth next year," he explained.

According to Calvin, the revision of the Financial Sector Development and Strengthening Law (P2SK) and the POJK Draft Amendment POJK 27/2024 could be a new impetus for accelerating the growth of the national crypto ecosystem.

He emphasized that more adaptive and efficient regulations will open up space for business actors to present innovative products and services, as well as strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness in the region.

"If the domestic ecosystem and regulations are getting stronger, investors don't need to look for alternatives abroad. This is not only a matter of business, but about building Indonesia's digital economy sovereignty," said Calvin.
