KKB Papua Makes Another Torment, 4 TNI Soldiers Were Shot In The Leg When The Car Crashed
JAKARTA - Commander of the Military Resort 172/Praja Wira Yakhti, TNI Brigadier General Izak Pangemanan, stated that the attack on the Security Task Force for the Infantry Battalion 403/WP and Mobile Task Force Infantry Battalion 310/KK was allegedly carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Lamek Taplo.
"The perpetrator of the attack is suspected of being the Lamek Taplo group, which was carried out when the vehicle was boarded by members of the Security Task Force for Vulnerable Areas from Infantry Battalion 403/WP and Mobile Task Force Infantry Battalion 310/KK", said Danrem Izak Pangemanan, in Jayapura, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, May 19.
Four members suffered gunshot wounds in the legs while crossing the wooden bridge 2 in Yapimakot Village, Serambakon District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Tuesday, May 18 evening.

He added that the case started when a group of 12 people used a four-wheeled vehicle returned to Serambakon after shopping at Oksibil.
While in the vicinity of the wooden bridge, the engine suddenly turned off so that the members got off and saw the condition of the car but were suddenly shot, resulting in a firefight.
The four injured members were Chief Sergeant Dian Hardiana and Chief Soldier Kuku Ismail from Infantry Battalion 310/KK, Second Sergeant Sukrisdianto Yonif, and Soldier Romi from Yonif 403/WP.
"The victims have now been evacuated and being treated at Marthen Indey Hospital, Jayapura", said Brigadier General Izak Pangemanan.
