JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team continues to show positive developments by proving through one place in the 2025 U-17 World Cup. Able to rise to the level of the AFF U-16 Cup and the U-17 Asian Cup, Nova Arianto as the coach asked his team not to be afraid.
The moment to qualify for the U-17 World Cup finals is the second time for the Garuda Nusantara Squad. Previously, they had participated in the 2023 edition with the status of the host.
Being able to take part in this prestigious tournament is clearly a golden opportunity to gain experience. Previously, the U-17 Indonesian national team managed to top the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup group stage above South Korea U-17, Yemen U-17, and Afghanistan U-17.
After learning valuable lessons from the defeat against North Korea U-17 in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup quarter-finals, now the U-17 Indonesian national team is looking at the 2025 U-17 World Cup.

The 2025 U-17 World Cup will take place on 3-27 November 2025. With the festival concept, all matches will be held at Aspire Zone, Doha, Qatar.
Two weeks before the 2025 U-17 World Cup, preparations continue to be finalized. Currently, Garuda Muda is being trained in a training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This agenda is Nova Arianto's moment to see the hard work of each player for the best results. He also scheduled three trials to see the readiness of his team on the real stage.
"I ask the players to try first, work hard without fear so that we can achieve the best results."
"The target is to see more preparations from the players. The three test matches here are very, very good for the preparation of the players, we will see if the players are mentally, physically, and tactically ready.
"Our training camp in Dubai is to focus on final preparations for the 2025 U-17 World Cup. Including conducting three trials there, we will see the final condition of the players and whether they are ready or not," Nova said.
