JAKARTA - Former Spokesperson for the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia Abdurrahman Wahid alias Gus Dur, Wimar Witoelar passed away, Wednesday, May 19. The body is planned to be buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU) this afternoon.

"The body will be buried in the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery, maybe in the afternoon. The funeral time will be informed further", said Erna Indriana, President Director of the InterMatrix Communication Consultant Bureau (IMX), Wednesday, May 19.

Currently, the 75-year-old man's body is still being rested at the funeral home in the Gandaria Selatan area, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

Erna revealed, before being treated at Pondok Indah Hospital, Wimar had complained of stomach pain and had vomited blood.

The man who was born in Padalarang, West Java, July 14, 1945, is also noted to have comorbidities such as diabetes which is still under control and is actively taking drugs.

"Not COVID-19, because it has PCR and can be visited by family", she explained.
