Bomb Explodes In Syria, Several People Die

A number of people were killed and others injured after an explosive device or bomb exploded near a bus carrying oil facility guards in Deir el-Zor, Syria.

This latest information was reported by state TV station El Ekhbariya on Thursday, October 16. There has been no detailed report on the chronology of the explosion incident.

Currently reported, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Despite this bomb attack, the Israeli military began entering two areas in the Syrian countryside of Quneitra on Wednesday local time. After entering Syria, Israeli forces decided to withdraw.

The Syrian state news agency, SANA, quoted by ANlaporkan, that the Israeli military consisted of eight military vehicles, one heavy vehicle, and two tanks.

They moved forward from Tal Kroum to the city of Al-Samadaniyeh Al-Sharqiya in eastern Syria. Then, stay in that position for several hours before returning to the destroyed city of Quneitra.

SANA reported the military also entered Ofaniya Village, conducting searches of two houses before withdrawing.

This effort is part of a continuing Israeli attack on Syrian territory, which Damascus says violates the 1974 Release Agreement and international law.

Syrian authorities have asked the international community to take a firm stance to stop such actions.
