Musician Of The 1980s, Raidy Noor, Dies

JAKARTA - Grief has returned to the world of Indonesian music. Musician and songwriter who was active in the 1980s, Raidy Noor, reportedly died.

The news is known from a chain message among media crews, who said Raidy had passed away to the Creator.

"Sad news. Innalillahi wainnailaihi raji'un. Musician Raidy Noor has passed away," reads the message received by VOI, Thursday, October 16.

Kadri Mohamad, a singer known as The Singing Lawyer, also expressed his condolences through uploading Instagram Stories.

He re-uploaded Raidy's sketch in his youth while playing the song 'Sapa Semesta' from the Noor Brothers' which he wrote with Harry Noor.

"Goodbye Raidy," wrote Kadri.

For information, Raidy Noor is known as an alumni of SMA 3 Jakarta, which at that time gave birth to many Indonesian musicians and songwriters, such as Ikang Fawzi, Addie MS, Fariz RM, Deddy Dhukun, to James F. Sundah.
