Youth Therapists Died In Pejaten, Police Check Pox Possibly Through Toxicology Examination
The police sent samples of RTA's organs, a youth therapist who was found dead on an empty land in the West Pejaten area, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, to the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) for toxicology checks.
"Yesterday we sent samples of organs to check for toxicology from the victim. We will wait for the results from the Forensic Laboratory," said Head of the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim, AKP Citra Ayu at the South Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Antara, Tuesday, October 14.
Citra explained that the results of the toxicology examination will be the basis for the National Police Hospital to conclude the exact cause of death of the victim.
"Essentially, doctors need to know whether there is poison or other substances that may be the cause of the victim's death," he said.
RTA was found dead on Thursday, October 2 at around 05.00 WIB. When found, the victim's body was in a supine position on an empty land with his legs tilted to the right. He wore a gray t-shirt and trousers, white, and black hair.
Around the victim's body was found a scar and a mobile wallet containing two cell phones which allegedly belonged to the victim.
The police also examined a number of witnesses, including a resident who heard the screams of women from the shophouse in the Pejaten Office Park area.
From the results of the initial examination, the police found no signs of severe violence on the victim's body, but there were abrasions on the left arm, left abdomen, and chin.
Citra added that investigators are still investigating the background of the victims, including the activities and those who last interacted with him.
"For more details, we will review the facts and additional evidence. We will convey the complete results after all the examinations are complete," he said.

The police revealed that the victim with the initials RTA (14) was suspected of being a victim of child exploitation. The investigation is now being carried out using Article 2 of the Law on the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) and the Child Protection Act.
