Threatened Not To Celebrate Release, Palestinian Prisoners Beaten By Israeli Soldiers

JAKARTA - The Israeli army tortured one of the Palestinian prisoners named Ayman al-Kurd who was released by Israel on Monday, October 13.

Based on Wafa's report via Al Jazeera, the torture was carried out when Israeli soldiers raided the victim's house in Kafr Aqab City, northern Jerusalem, today.

As a result of this torture, the victim suffered fractures and bruises on his nose and legs.

The Israeli army also damaged property and warned victims of Ayman's family al-Kurd not to hold a release celebration.

Wafa added that Israeli forces also raided a number of houses in the occupied West Bank, including al-Khader, al-Ubeidiya, and Dar Salah, without reporting any arrests.

In a separate incident, Israeli illegal settlers reportedly blocked the main road of Ramallah-Nablus near al-Lubban Asharqiya, where they brandished weapons outside two schools.
