Carrying The Theme Of Bhineka Tunggal Suara, AMI Awards Will Be Held 19 November
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Music Award Foundation (YAMI) officially announced that the 2025 AMI Awards awarding night will take place on 19 November.
Candra Darusman as the Chair of YAMI said that the holding of the 28th edition of the AMI Awards will later carry the theme 'Bhinneka Tunggal Suara', which confirms that music is a universal language that is able to unite cultural, genre and generational diversity.
This theme reflects the spirit of unity through tone and rhythm, as well as celebrating the richness of Indonesian musicals which were born from differences but combined into harmony.
"Bhinneka Tunggal Suara" is a symbol of how Indonesian music continues to grow in diversity, but remains one in the spirit and identity of the nation," Candra said at a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Monday, October 13.
"Music is a unifying tool for all of us. And we know that Indonesian music is very diverse, varied, across generations, and we agree through our tagline this year, we continue to strive with music to unite the nation," added Candra.
This year, 5,227 registered works were recorded both in single and album formats which were released commercially from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The number of works that register themselves shows that the enthusiasm of musicians' work remains burning, despite the growing challenges of the music industry.
"The number of registrants continues to increase for the AMI Awards, which means that the trust of musicians to register their work has also increased," said Syaharani of the AMI Awards Category Team.
And this year, it's even cooler than last year. There are a lot of types, from sound vintage to new ones too. So, the variation is very wide," he added.
With the support of all music people and creative workers, the 2025 AMI Awards is expected to continue to be a stage of appreciation as well as motivation for Indonesian musicians to work and provide the best quality for the nation.
