Pramono Asks PPSU To Clean Former Banners, Including The Flag Of The Party Scattered Everywhere

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung asked public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) officers to be more sensitive in seeing the condition of public facilities in Jakarta.

Garbage left over from banners to billboards that are outdated and no longer used, according to Pramono, must be cleaned immediately.

"So we start to arrange small things in the field, including banners, what, billboards, and so on that are disturbing, which are not productive, which have been around for too long, including party flags scattered everywhere I will ask for cleaning up," said Pramono in Kebayoran Lama Utara, Monday, October 13.

Pramono saw that currently there is still a lot of banners to the umbuls scattered in the public sphere. According to him, it interferes with the scenery and spatial planning of the city.

"In these parks, there are so many examples, these banners that have not been cleaned for years. Well, things like this shouldn't happen," said Pramono.

On the other hand, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has started running an experimental project or pilot project for collaborative waste management in six urban villages in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency, Asep Kuswanto, said that his party would carry out monitoring and strict evaluations during the first year.

Asep revealed that this pilot project will become a model for sustainable waste management that can be imitated in 261 other urban villages.

"Through this pilot project, we want to integrate various contributions such as infrastructure, technology, education, training and assistance in regional-based waste management systems," said Asep some time ago.

The six points targeted by the pilot project are RW 07 Kelurahan Johar Baru (Central Jakarta), RW 04 Pegangsaan Dua Village (North Jakarta), RW 05 Kelurahan Pengadungan (West Jakarta), RW 07 Kelurahan Ulujami (South Jakarta), RW 17 Kelurahan Klender (East Jakarta), and Pulau Sancang in Kelurahan Pulau Pari ( Seribu Islands).

This large-scale social collaboration (KSBB) of the waste cluster, continued Asep, aims to create an independent waste management system through synergies between stakeholders, from the government, industry, start-up, academics, civil society organizations, to the community.

"This collaboration is a strategic step to create an independent and sustainable village in managing its waste," explained Asep.
