Presidential Decree On MBG Governance Has Not Been Issued, Minister Of State Secretary: Wait A Moment Of Patience
Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi asked the public to be more patient in waiting for the issuance of presidential regulations (perpres) regarding the governance of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.
The draft rules that include stricter provisions regarding the governance of the MBG program after the findings of the poisoning case are now at its desk, being in the stage of improvement.
"It will be sent soon. But as we have given the previous explanation, it does not mean that currently the governance or implementation of the MBG carried out by BGN does not have a Presidential Decree, but we are looking to improve it, so we ask for time so that the improvements can be optimal," said Prasetyo, quoted on Saturday, October 11.
Prasetyo emphasized that the government is ensuring that these regulations cover all aspects of supervision, especially from the health and food safety sectors.
"Waiting for some input. Especially yesterday from the Ministry of Health. We want the Ministry of Health and BPOM to also be involved in providing supervision. So wait patiently too for a while," he said.

The question was addressed to the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana during a meeting with Commission IX of the DPR with the Ministry of Health and BPOM at the Nusantara I Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1.
Edy then mentioned about the supervisory function of the DPR RI. He said that questioning the mass poisoning of the MBG program was one of the work of council members.
"Well, my first question is, when will the Presidential Decree go down, sir? Can you imagine, 82 million beneficiaries of ready-to-eat food throughout Indonesia, if you don't have a Presidential Decree, how do you want to involve across ministries and local governments?", said Edy.
"How long do you want this to go down? This (MBG) must be noisy, sir, what makes you noise yourself. We have warned several times when the Presidential Decree will come down, please help me with this," he continued.
