The Ministry Of Finance Said That The Single Salary Scheme Of Civil Servants Is Not Ready To Be Implemented

BOGOR - Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu) menegaskan bahwa skema single salary atau salary tunggal untuk Pegawai Negeri Civil (PNS) belum siap untuk diterapkan.

The Director General of Economic and Fiscal Strategy at the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, stated that the scheme is still in the study stage.

"Single salt is being studied again. We will review the single salt later, it's not too ready," he said at the 2026 State Budget Completed Prison, Thursday, October 9.

In addition, he also did not specify in more detail the issue or unpreparedness of implementing the scheme.

Previously, the Director of State Budget Preparation of the Directorate General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Rofyanto Kurniawan, explained that the implementation of the single sale will not be carried out next year because the statement in the financial note document is still medium-term.

"Not yet, not yet in 2026," said Rofyanto to the media crew, Wednesday, August 27.

"It's mentioned in the medium term, so it's not in a short time," he added.

Although it has not yet been implemented in the near future, Rofyanto stated that discussions related to the single payroll scheme for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will continue between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) to finalize the concept of changing the payroll system.

"Yes, this means that we are trying to discuss the discourse from the Kemenpanrb, we are trying to discuss it, we are preparing for the medium term," he said.
