3 People In Singapore Arrested For Liquid Vape Containing Etomade Swimmers

JAKARTA - Three people were arrested on suspicion of liquid vape dark trade containing an ethomidee or sedative in Singapore on Saturday, October 4.

Citing AsiaOne, the Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said the arrests of these three people were based on development after the arrest of a man suspected of abusing the ethodidate on Thursday, October 2.

HSA officers later arrested two of its suppliers, Vernette Heng Cui Teng, 23, and a 17-year-old girl, who could not be named because she was protected by the Child and Youth Act.

A total of 64 and 16 liquid vapes and related components allegedly contained ethodidates confiscated from the residence of Heng and the 17-year-old girl.

Further investigation led HSA officers to suppliers of young women aged 17 years, namely Amir Shah, 27, and Anwar Shah. Four liquid vapes and related components suspected of containing etomides were confiscated from the residences of the two suppliers.

Based on the investigation, Amir is also suspected of supplying liquid vapes containing etomydates to a woman via Telegram.

As for criminal law in Singapore, perpetrators of ethical abuse are fined on the spot and will be required to undergo rehabilitation if their vape devices are proven to contain etomides.

So far the pod vape seized in the search of this case has been proven to contain ethodidates.
