ULM Ensures 16 Professors Have Not Received Cancellation Decree, Only 1 Name Has Been Revoked
BANJARMASIN - Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in South Kalimantan has confirmed that so far 16 professors have not received a decree (SK) on the cancellation of professors from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek).
"Until this official statement was released, 16 professors did not receive an cancellation decree except on behalf of Juhrisyah Dalle," said Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information System ULM Yusuf Azis in Banjarmasin, Antara, Monday, September 26.
Regarding Juhrisyah Dalle, Yusuf explained that his party could not confirm because he was no longer active on the ULM campus.
Even his salary has been terminated since October 2, 2024 through the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Number 263/UN8.1.31/KP.04.05/2024.
Yusuf emphasized that ULM fully appreciates and respects the decisions that will be issued by the Ministry of Education and Technology regarding the 17 professors. ULM is also committed to rebuilding public trust through improving the system, strengthening integrity, and improving the quality of Higher Education Tridharma in a sustainable manner.
He added that the official statement of ULM was only issued by Public Relations of ULM. If there is a statement and information from parties outside of Public Relations, then it is not an official representation of the campus that has superior accreditation and upholds academic integrity.
"Humas ULM will periodically report progress made to the public through various official communication channels," he said.
Previously, the verification process for 16 ULM professors by the Inspectorate General (Itjen) of the Ministry of Education and Technology had taken place some time ago. The verification invitation letter was sent directly by Itjen to the professor concerned and the process was carried out behind closed doors.

ULM stated that it respects the verification process in accordance with applicable regulations and accepts any decision of the Ministry of Education and Technology.
