Allegations Of Village Asset Corruption, West Lombok Land Office Searched

MATARAM The Mataram District Attorney's Special Crime Team (Kejari) searched the Land Office of West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), today.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Mataram Kejari Harun Al Rasyid explained that the search was a follow-up to the investigation into the alleged corruption of agricultural land assets in 2018-2020 in Labuapi District.

"From the search, the team of investigating prosecutors confiscated 36 items of documents related to the case," said Harun in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, September 23.

Dozens of documents were confiscated from a number of rooms at the West Lombok Land Office, including the field of registration, measurement, dispute, and archival space.

"We are investigating again for the material of the investigation," he said.

The alleged corruption case of agricultural land assets in 2018-2020 in Labuapi District is related to allegations of illegal sales to private parties with a land area of 3.6 hectares.

Previously, the Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Mataram Kejari Mardiyono explained that the land had the status of a chess player from Karang Sembung Village, but in 2020 it changed its status to a certificate of ownership (SHM) in the name of the Bagek Polak Village Head.

He said geographically the chess land was located in the Bagek Polak Village area, but administratively it was listed as an asset of Karang Sembung Village.

"The funny thing is, the land does not belong to Bagek Polak Village, but is sold by the authorities," said Mardiyono.

Penyidik mengungkap tanah seluas 3,6 hektare tersebut kemudian dijual dengan nilai transaksi Rp360 juta.

Investigators revealed that the 3.6 hectare land was then sold for a transaction value of IDR 360 million.
