3 Accidents In A Month, Transjakarta Involves KNKT To Audit Its Bus Service

JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta involves the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) to conduct a thorough audit and evaluation of the operations of Transjakarta services.

The reason is, this month, the Transjakarta bus had three accidents involving 2 operators in collaboration with Transjakarta, namely Damri and Steady Safe.

"Security is our top priority. We cooperate with the NTSC because of their expertise and independence in investigating accidents," said Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza, Monday, September 22.

The NTSC will carry out an in-depth investigation into the causes of each accident, both related to human factors (HR), operational procedures, and fleet technicalities.

The results of the KNKT investigation will be the basis for Transjakarta to formulate comprehensive system improvements.

"We are aware of the need for improvement in various aspects. Therefore, we will work closely with the NTSC as we have previously done, to identify areas that need improvement", Welfizon explained.
