Korika Launches Korika Chat, Local GenAI Plantform For Access To Public Information
JAKARTA - The Collaboration of Artificial Intelligence Industry Research and Innovation (KORIKA) together with Dataseur AI officially launched Korika Chat, a Generative AI platform with AI Agenalytic capabilities, specifically designed to access and manage real-time verified public information.
Launched at the AI Innovation Summit 2025 which was held on Tuesday, September 16, the Korika Chat or so-called KChat was built using open source technology, so it can be hosted on various servers.
Adjusted to the formal Indonesian standard, KChat is claimed to be relevant for the communication needs of the SOE sector, public institutions, and MSMEs. This platform is said to be able to trace documents in various formats (PDF, Word, Excel, to open data).
"Korika Chat is a tangible manifestation of Indonesia's digital sovereignty. As a local generator created by the nation's children for the needs of the nation, Korika Chat is not only present as a chatbit, but as a strategic foundation for SOEs, public institutions, for MSMEs," said KORIKA General Chair Hammam Riza at the launch event.

KChat is designed with privacy-first principles and open-source-based. All data can be stored and securely encrypted on the client's servers, both on physical servers, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and cloud providers.
So, with this design, organizations no longer depend on foreign vendors and can still ensure compliance with national regulations.
"The presence of Korika Chat also proves that the nation's children are able to produce world-class technology that continues to stand on the needs and context of Indonesia," added Hammam.
