Red Notice Riza Chalid, Police: Being Processed
JAKARTA - The National Police's International Relations Division (Divhubinter) has processed the issuance of a red notice for the suspect Muhammad Riza Chalid (MRC) has been processed.
The application for the issuance of the red notice is known to have submitted the Attorney General's Office (AGO) which is currently handling a case of alleged corruption in crude oil management and refinery products at PT Pertamina Persero Sub Holding-KKKS for the period 2018-2023.
"Currently in the process of issuing the Interpol Red Notice," said Ses NCB Divhubinter Polri, Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, September 13.
However, regarding the time it takes to complete the process or the official red notice is issued, Untung did not convey it.
It is only said, all of these matters are being processed. If it has been completed, information regarding the issuance of red notices will be submitted.
"We'll let you know when it's published," said Untung.

The AGO previously stated that the development of the issuance of a red notice for Muhammad Riza Chalid was just a matter of time. Because the process has been discussed with Interpol.
"It's being discussed with Interpol, the NCBC. Actually, it will be profiled from here," said the Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna.
However, administratively investigators have completed it, one of which is by including Riza Chalid in the People's Wanted List (DPO).
"From this DPO, the process to get it must be increased first, the determination of the DPO first. For the MRC, yes," said Anang.
Riza Chalid's DPO status has been issued as of August 19, 2025. This step is to find his whereabouts and bring him back to Indonesia.
From the tracking, Riza Chalid is suspected of being in Malaysia. In fact, he has married a relative of the Sultanate of the neighboring country.
