Police Investigate Human Skeleton In Aren Tree In Serdang Bedagai
JAKARTA - The police are investigating the alleged human skeleton in the ISN tree in Hamlet I, Pematang Ganjang Village, Sei Rampah District, Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra.
Firdaus Police Chief AKP Ahmad Albar said his party was still conducting an investigation to reveal the identity of the victim.
"We urge residents who feel they have lost their families to be able to report to the nearest police station," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 9.
The human skeleton was first discovered by Rian (17), a local resident and two of his colleagues while harvesting palm fruit.
Rian said that at that time he saw the bones in the fallen and dead palm trees. Rian ventured to open the palm tree. It was surprising that Rian saw the complete human skeleton in the palm tree. Suddenly the findings became a spectacle for residents.
Firdaus Police together with the Inafis team went down to the location and evacuated the human skeleton. In that framework, a gas lighter was found, black trousers, a blue t-shirt, an iron bracelet and Nokia's cellphone.
Amelia (55), a housewife, is still a local resident, claiming to have lost her son, Muhammad Yuda Prawira (23), who has been missing since 2023. However, Amelia could not confirm that the human skeleton was her child.
"From the clothes found, it was not my son's clothes, my son has been missing since 2023, but I am still waiting for the results from the police," said Amelia.
Meanwhile, Mutia Sari (26), the victim's daughter, Amelia, is her sister. She recognized the bracelet that was found to have been worn by her sister who had been missing since 2023 years ago.
