Jonathan Frizzy Optimistic To Undergo Trial, Asks For Real Facts To Be Revealed

JAKARTA - Jonathan Frizzy alias Ijonk's attorney said that his party was fully ready to testify to the vape case containing hard drugs which also involved three other people.

If the trial is not postponed, Lamgok explained that his party will dig up the testimonies of Evan and Erna, who are also the defendants in this case, through questions that will be thrown during the trial.

"Our readiness as of yesterday, we visited, talked about it for today's preparation. Yes, we are actually 100% ready to face this trial, including questions to explore, especially Evan and Erna, how," explained Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi at the Tangerang District Court, Wednesday, September 3.

Even so, Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi was reluctant to explain further regarding what main points would be asked by his party to the testimony of the other defendants.

"Yes, that will be part of our defense. Next week we will," said Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi.

Furthermore, Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi expressed Jonathan Frizzy's hope that his attorney could explore the true facts of this case and prove whether he deserves to be punished or not.

"Hopefully this is all open. So, yes, Ijong, Jonathan Frizzy, he only told us that according to the facts, please explore the real facts about how it happened," said Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi.

"What about his knowledge legally? 'Do I deserve to be accused or deemed to know this? Do I deserve to be punished?' And so on. So he is very optimistic about going through the next trial," he concluded.

Previously, the presiding judge decided to postpone the trial at the request of the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

"Legal advisors, yes, today the Public Prosecutor cannot present the defendant. So we will postpone the trial later all of them to provide testimony as witnesses between them on Wednesday, September 10, 2025," said the presiding judge during the trial, Wednesday, September 3.

For the next trial, the Public Prosecutor was asked by the Panel of Judges to present all the defendants in the trial, including Jonathan Frizzy.

"Ordered the Public Prosecutor to present the defendant offline later," continued the presiding judge.
