Oppo Find X9 And Find X9 Pro Come With Bigger Battery And Fast Charging 55W PPS

JAKARTA - A number of reports state that Oppo will launch the Find X9 series in October in China. Ahead of the launch, Oppo and its executive ranks began providing leaks regarding the specifications of their latest flagship devices.

Recently, Oppo Find-series Product Manager Zhou Yibao, via uploads on Weibo revealed some important information about battery capacity and X9 Find series charging capability.

According to Yibao, Oppo conducted a survey last year on more than 5,000 users of the Find X8 series, asking what the most expected increase was. The majority of users asked for a longer battery experience. In response to this, Yibao confirmed that the Find X9 series would come with a significant increase in battery life.

Based on the latest leaks, the Oppo Find X9 will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 7,025 mAh, while the Find X9 Pro will have a larger battery of 7,550 mAh. Both are also said to support 80W cable charging and 50W wireless.

55W PPS Fast Charging Support

In addition, Yibao revealed that the Find X9 series will support fast charging of 55W PPS (Programmable Power Supply), a large improvement over the Find X8 series which only supports 33W PPS. PPS technology allows chargers and cell phones to adjust voltages and currents dynamically in real time, thus providing faster charging speeds, lower heat, and maintaining battery health in the long term.

With this technology, the Find X9 series not only offers powerful performance but is also optimized for better battery reliability.

The Find X9 series will also include the Find X9 Ultra variant, but this model is expected to be released in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, Find X9 and X9 Pro will use the Dimensity 9500 chipset, while the Ultra variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (aka Snapdragon 8 Elite 2).
