After The House Was Dijarah Until It Was Disabled From The DPR RI, Uya Kuya Supports The Decreased DPR Allowances

JAKARTA - Not only denying personal gossip, Uya Kuya also mentioned the issue of the DPR's salary increase which recently drew criticism. According to him, the policy was not appropriate.

"When I was asked, I didn't agree. And it wasn't right, it was done. But as far as I know, I know, for several months I was appointed as a member of the DPR, the discourse to raise my salary I never heard of," explained Uya Kuya, quoted by VOI from YouTube Intense Investigation, Monday, September 1.

He even supports if the allowances for DPR members are evaluated or adjusted to the conditions of the community.

"If indeed the allowances attached to members of the DPR RI must be evaluated, must be lowered or whatever it is adjusted, I will follow, I support, I support," he added.

"That's the demands of the community. Go ahead and clearly, we are talking about a DPR RI, not talking about allowances or salaries. But the responsibility is what he has to do with his people," he said.

For Uya Kuya, the most important thing is not how much salary or allowance is received, but rather a commitment in carrying out the mandate as a representative of the people. He ensured that the reduction of allowances even though he would not affect his performance in the DPR.

"God willing, no. God willing, it will be safe, God willing," he concluded.
