Uya Kuya Denies The Issue Of Escaped Abroad: I'm In Jakarta How Come

JAKARTA Uya Kuya's name has returned to the public spotlight after rumors circulated that he had fled abroad after being inaugurated as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

This gossip was widely discussed on social media and had caused a big question mark among netizens. However, Uya Kuya finally spoke up and firmly denied the news.

In an interview, Uya Kuya confirmed that he was still in Indonesia, precisely in Jakarta.

"Alhamdulillah, I feel considered. That means this, we should not be too carried away by the narratives on social media. Check first, it's not a fact," said Uya Kuya, quoted by VOI from YouTube Intense Investigation, Monday, September 1.

"But if I am private, I am in Jakarta. And I'm not going anywhere like that," he explained.

Previously, this issue began with a video upload on Instagram which showed that his former guest was at the airport after he was allegedly viral because he was dancing when the salary and allowance for the DPR RI would be increased.

In the video, Uya Kuya is seen wearing an all-white shirt and walking carrying a suitcase while busy talking via telephone. It is written in the video that the narrative that Uya Kuya is suspected of running away abroad.

This coincides with the tragedy of his house, which recently became a victim of looting by residents who were disappointed with his attitude.
