State administrative law expert at the Sultan Agung Islamic University (Uendusula) Semarang Professor Jawade Hafidz emphasized the importance of simplifying the bureaucracy related to the confiscation of assets of corruption perpetrators.

"State officials must be more proactive and firm in maintaining and saving state assets and state finances from perpetrators of criminal acts of corruption," said Jawade after being confirmed as Professor of the Faculty of Law Uendusula at the Urisula Auditorium, Semarang, Saturday.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law Umensila delivered a speech inaugurating a professor entitled "Responsibility to the Law of State Administration in Saving State Assets Due to Corrupt Behavior".

Jawade encourages the immediate passing of laws related to the confiscation of assets of perpetrators of criminal acts of corruption because the existence of regulations is important to support efforts to save assets and state assets.

"With the law on confiscation of assets, it is regulated in confiscation of legal assets, there is no need to go through a long bureaucracy," he said.

In fact, law enforcers, in this regard, prosecutors, can be given full authority to execute, confiscate, or take over the control of assets owned by corruptors.

He added that the rescue of state assets was intended so that state assets that had been lost, either in the form of fixed or movable assets, could be returned immediately.

"That is by improving the bureaucratic system. One of the good bureaucratic systems in asset arrangement is the orderly management of state asset documents," he said.

Then, said Jawade, related to the completeness of documents and the transparency of documents so that they can be controlled by various elements of society.

"So far, it seems closed. They have done something, the arrangement of state assets is only those who know. This must be dismantled in the future," he said.

He said that the existence of state administrative law is very important because it makes governance orderly.

"With state administrative law, governance in governance becomes faster, more measurable and the benefits can be felt quickly by the community," said Jawade.
