BSI And Property Company Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Encourage The Ease Of Owning A Home For Millennials

JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is in synergy with Sinar Mas Land regarding product utilization and cooperation of Griya Simuda housing financing product marketing program.

Through this synergy, BSI and Sinar Mas Land are determined to encourage the growth of the property sector through various facilities presented for the community in owning housing, especially for millennials.

Director of Retail Banking bank Syariah Indonesia Kokok Alun Akbar said the millennial segment is a very potential ecosystem. Through BSI Griya Simuda products together with Sinar Mas Land's Wish For Home program, it is expected to increase the attractiveness of millennials to property through housing financing in accordance with sharia principles.

"We hope to provide the best housing through housing financing in accordance with sharia principles and increase the purchasing power of the community, so as to boost the economy of the Indonesian nation through the property sector," said Kokok Alun, in a written statement received on Tuesday, May 11.

Present at the signing of this agreement, namely Managing Director sinar Mas Land Alim Gunadi, SEVP Consumer Business Bank Syariah Indonesia Wawan Setiawan, and Group Head Consumer Financing 1 Bank Syariah Indonesia Praka Mulia Agung.

BSI Griya Simuda has a variety of interesting features including an extra ceiling/financing limit, extra financing period up to 30 years, definite installments, competitive margins, and lightweight DP. This feature is expected to encourage the community, especially millennials and young families can get the housing they dream of.

One of Bank Syariah Indonesia's leading consumer products is homeownership financing (KPR) or called Griya Hasanah BSI Financing. As of the first quarter of 2021, Bank Syariah Indonesia's position as the largest commercial mortgage dealer in Indonesia rose to 5th place with achievement of Rp38 trillion.

Various payment waivers provided by both cash purchases and express mortgages include discounts of up to 15 percent, occupancy incentives/wake-up incentives up to 10 percent, free BPHTB, DP subsidies up to 15 percent, mortgage installment subsidies, free transfer fees, free KPR/KPA fees, and additional discounts for some products.

Ketupat Lebaran promo and the first period of Wish for Home are also supported by the provision of value-added tax (VAT) incentives borne by the government for the purchase of houses and flats up to a price of Rp5 billion.
