Case Of Bribery Of Decisions To Release CPO Exports, Three Judges Begin To Be Tried Today

The three judges involved in the alleged bribery case against a corruption case in the provision of crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities in 2023-2025 will be tried today.

The three judges are Djuyamto, Agam Syarief Baharudin and Ali Muhtarom.

"The trial with the agenda of reading the indictment," said Central Jakarta District Court spokesman Sunoto in his statement, Thursday, August 21.

It is known that the cases of the three judges were registered with different numbers. For Djuyamto with number 71/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN.Jkt.Pst; Agam Syarief Baharuddin with 72/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN.Jkt.Pst; while Ali Muhtarom with number 73/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN.Jkt.Pst.

The plan is that the trial of the alleged bribery case will be held at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court, at around 10:00 WIB.

In this bribery case, the three judges are suspected of accepting bribes together with North Jakarta Civil Youth Registrar Wahyu Gunawan and Former South Jakarta District Court (PN) Chairman Muhammad Arif Nuryanta.

The money received totaled 2.5 million United States (US) dollars or equivalent to Rp40 billion.

In detail, the bribes received by Arif, Wahyu, and the other three judges were received twice. The first receipt was in the form of cash of 500 thousand US dollars or Rp. 8 billion, which Arif received Rp. 3.3 billion; Wahyu Rp. 800 million; Djuyamto Rp. 1.7 billion; and Agam and Ali each Rp. 1.1 billion.

Then the second receipt was in the form of cash US$2 million or Rp32 billion, which was divided into Arif amounting to Rp12.4 billion; Wahyu Rp1.6 billion; Djuyamto Rp7.8 billion; and Agam and Ali each Rp5.1 billion
