JAKARTA - KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said that his party had submitted the results of a study related to the revision of the Criminal Procedure Code (RKUHAP) to Commission III of the DPR. He hopes that Commission III of the DPR can accommodate inputs from the KPK, especially regarding the authority of anti-corruption agencies that already exist in the KPK Law.
"Yes, we have submitted it. So the study is based on the review, we are not only conducting internal studies. We also ask for opinions from experts in the form of FGD, Forum Group Discussion. Then we also ask for responses from civil society or civil society, how they actually responded to this Criminal Procedure Code Bill. And we have put everything in writing and we have submitted it," said Setyo at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 20.
Some of the inputs that became KPK records, continued Setyo, were related to corruption prevention issues.
"We have made many breakthroughs, conducted many studies, and we conveyed the latest study on issues with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, with the Ministry of Forestry, and the Ministry of Finance, we have also conveyed it," he said.
