Bintang Santos, Neymar - who appeared full - admitted that he was very ashamed of the result. He said the result was the worst defeat in his career.
Neymar - who signed a new contract at Santos in June 2025 - includes emotions when the game ended and was entertained on the pitch by a club coaching staff.
"I am ashamed. I am truly disappointed with our performance. The supporters have the right to protest, of course without resorting to violence."
"If they want to swear and insult, they have the right. It feels very embarrassed. I've never experienced this in my entire life."

Santos also fired chief coach Cleber Xavier after the result.
"Santos FC announced the departure of coach Cleber Xavier. The club is grateful for the services the coach has provided and wishes him success in his future career," Santos said in a statement on Instagram.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool and Barcelona striker Phillipe Coutinho--who joined Vasco this summer-- scored two goals in the second half after Lucas Piton put Vasco ahead early in the first half.
Goals from David Correa, De Fonseca, Rayan, and Danilo Neves completed the sensational score.
This result brings Vasco out of the relegation zone and places them only two points adrift of Santos in 15th position.
