Polisi Segera Setapkan Tersangka Pengancaman Dokter Bermasker Di RSUD Sedayu
PALEMBANG - Musi Banyuasin Police, South Sumatra (Sumsel) examined as many as four people in the case of threatening doctors at the Sekayu Hospital.
The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Kombes Nandang Mu'min Wijaya, said that the Musi Banyuasin Police had examined as many as four witnesses related to the case.
In addition to examining four witnesses, investigators from the Musi Banyuasin Police also conducted a crime scene investigation to investigate the incident.
"Hopefully in the near future, after the investigation process of this case can be continued to the investigation process," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 15.
He explained that the case would continue at the Muba Police. In that case, the reported person who is a patient's family is subject to Article 335 of the Criminal Code concerning coercion and threats of violence.
"People don't need to worry, because the process of investigating cases of coercion with threats of violence will continue and of course it will begin with an investigation first. The construction of the article applied in this case is article 335 of the Criminal Code, namely coercion with threats of violence," explained Nandang.

The incident began when the patient's family allegedly forced dr. Syahpri took off his mask while examining the patient in the VIP ICU room at the Sekayu Hospital.
According to dr. Syahpri, this action threatens his safety as a medical personnel and is against health protocols, because he has worked according to hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
