Roy Suryo Cs Can't Fulfill The Investigation Of The Case Of Allegations Of Jokowi's Fake Diplomas
Telematics expert Roy Suryo and his friends are said to have not been able to fulfill the summons for examination as witnesses in the alleged defamation and slander case related to allegations of fake diplomas by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Polda Metro Jaya.
Roy Suryo cs is known to be scheduled to provide information from 11 to 14 August 2025.
"Our client has not been able to fulfill the summons," said Roy Suryo's attorney, Ahmad Khozinudin, to reporters, Monday, August 11.
In fact, there are nine people who are planned to be examined. The details, witnesses Sunarto and Arif Nugroho will be examined today.
Then, Roy Suryo and Rizal Fadillah and Kurnia Tri Royani on Tuesday, August 12. Then, Rustam Effendi, Rismon Sianipar, Nurdiansyah Susilo, and Mikhael Benjamin Sinaga are scheduled to be questioned Thursday, August 14.
All witnesses are said to be unable to attend the examination because there are other activities that have been scheduled and cannot be abandoned.
"Our client, the schedule regarding what I mentioned earlier, is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, before August 17, 2025, which has been scheduled for various agendas ahead of the celebration of August 17, 2025, independence day," he said.

Therefore, Khozinudin said that his party would send a letter to investigators regarding the reasons for the absence of his clients.
In addition, the letter will also be requested for investigators to schedule an examination time around next week or after the celebration of August 17, 2025.
"For when the time is in the letter, we will recommend or suggest that the summons be rescheduled at least after the celebration of the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia," said Khozinudin.
As a reminder, Polda Metro Jaya stated that the alleged defamation case related to allegations of fake diplomas reported by the 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been upgraded to the investigation stage.
The decision to increase the status of the case is based on the results of a case conducted by the State Security Sub-Directorate (Kamneg) on Thursday, July 10.
This case stems from an official report submitted directly by President Jokowi to the Polda Metro Jaya. He reported the parties who accused him of using fake diplomas as a form of defamation.
The report refers to a number of articles in the Criminal Code (KUHP), namely Articles 310 and 311 concerning defamation. In addition, investigators also apply Article 27A, Article 32, and Article 35 of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE).
