Alert, Jakarta Potentially Heavy Rain Until August 13
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) asked the public to be aware of the potential for very heavy rain for three days, from 11-13 August 2025.
"The weather early warning will rain for the next 3 days with moderate to very heavy intensity in the DKI Jakarta area," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in his statement, Monday, August 11.
Isnawa berujar, masyarakat bisa memantau informasi banjir terkini melalui situs https://pantaubanjir.jakarta.go.id/peta-banjir-berbasiskan-rt. Warga juga dapat menghubungi call center Jakarta Siaga 112.
"The public is advised to always be vigilant and alert to anticipate the impact of extreme weather," said Isnawa.

Today, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released an early warning of extreme weather for the next 3 days in a number of areas.
Apart from Jakarta, areas that are on alert with the potential for heavy to very heavy rain include South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, West Java, Central Java, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi and Papua.
Then, areas with alert status that have the potential for moderate to heavy rain are in North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau Islands, Jambi, Bangka Belitung Islands, Banten, East Java, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Southwest Papua, West Papua, Central Papua, and South Papua.
Furthermore, areas with early warning of strong winds include Aceh, Bali, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, and South Sulawesi.
