75 Employees Failed To Pass The National Insight Test, KPK Claims Not Throwing Responsibility
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that it did not pass the responsibility on the 75 employees who did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK) as a condition for becoming a state civil apparatus (ASN).
"This is not us giving away responsibility, but to equalize perceptions and coordinate with ministries and agencies whose duties are in the field of the state civil apparatus," said KPK Deputy Chairman Nurul Ghufron as quoted by Antara, Sunday, May 9.
Previously, the KPK would coordinate with the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) regarding the follow-up of 75 employees who were declared not passing TWK.
"In a press conference (May 5, 2021) we emphasized that further steps would be to coordinate with Kemenpan and BKN, whether MS (meets the requirements) how the further administrative steps are, including the TMS (not meeting the requirements) how to proceed," said Ghufron.
He said the KPK was a law enforcement agency that handled staffing autonomously, in contrast to ASN.
"Because we are a law enforcement agency which has been an autonomous employee affair, we have arranged it separately and differently from ASN, so formally, because the supervisor of ASN management is Kemenpan, of course, we must further coordinate with Kemenpan and BKN," he said.
Previously, a letter was circulated signed by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri without a date that stipulated a KPK leadership decision regarding the results of the TWK assessment that did not meet the requirements in the context of transferring KPK employees to ASN employees.
There are four points listed in the letter. First, determining the names of employees mentioned in the attachment to this decree, do not meet the requirements in the context of transferring KPK employees to ASN employees.
