JAKARTA - The top meeting of two leaders of superpowers, Russia and the United States is likely to be held in Arab countries.

"The opportunity (to hold a Putin-Trump meeting) in Arab countries has been discussed," a source familiar with this told TASS, as quoted August 8.
Earlier, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov on August 7, said Moscow and Washington had brokered an agreement to hold a meeting between the two leaders in the next few days.

Ushakov also said the meeting location of the two leaders had been agreed upon and would soon be announced in due course.
On the same day, President Putin confirmed preparations for talks with President Trump were underway as he noted that both sides were willing to hold bilateral meetings.
