The Ministry Of Public Works Encourages Infrastructure To Support Astacita Prabowo Next Year
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) will encourage infrastructure sectors to support the Astacita of Presidential Government Prabowo Subianto next year.
Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said that her party was preparing this ahead of the delivery of the 2026 RAPBN on August 15.
"Regarding Astacita, Mr. President Prabowo's programs are what we must encourage all such as food self-sufficiency, People's Schools, continuing to Eat Free Nutrition (MBG), then connectivity," Diana said when met after the press conference of the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) in Jakarta, Thursday, August 7.
Diana added that the infrastructure sectors that will be pursued in order to support the Astacita of President Prabowo's Government, such as irrigation, the development of public school education infrastructure, connectivity and so on.
"Regarding irrigation, we also encourage the People's School again. Then, for connectivity related to regional roads and so on, we encourage (also) preservation," he said.
Previously, the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, proposed an additional budget for 2026 of IDR 68.88 trillion.
Meanwhile, the effective ceiling of the budget received by the Ministry of Public Works is IDR 70.86 trillion next year.
With this additional proposal, the PU Ministry's ceiling for 2026 of IDR 139.74 trillion can be met.
"Some are for technical programs of IDR 65.28 trillion and partly for management support of around IDR 3.6 trillion," said Dody at a Working Meeting with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 9.
For technical programs, these additions can later be focused on food self-sufficiency support in the field of Water Resources (SDA) infrastructure of IDR 4.92 trillion and the completion of the Multi Years Contract (MYC) of IDR 12.01 trillion.
In addition, there is another technical program, namely for the development of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) of IDR 1.77 trillion, construction of People's Schools of IDR 10 trillion, operations and infrastructure preservation of SDA and roads of IDR 6.03 trillion, labor-intensive sectors of IDR 3.98 trillion and preparation of emergency disasters of IDR 0.55 trillion.
There is also another allocation of technical programs, namely land acquisition including for Foreign Loans (PLN) projects and non-PSN dams of Rp2.49 trillion, technical support for the hall of Rp3.51 trillion, certification of PU Polytechnic construction workers of Rp0.01 trillion, new activities of Rp17.62 trillion and PDN and PLN worth Rp2.26 trillion.

Sementara untuk program dukungan manajemen, kata Dody, dari usulan tambahan anggaran tersebut akan digunakan sebesar Rp2,84 triliun untuk belanja pegawai dan Rp 0,76 triliun untuk belanja non-operasional.
Dody berharap, tambahan anggaran tersebut bisa mendapat persetujuan DPR agar target pembangunan di sektor pekerjaan umum bisa tetap berjalan maksimal pada 2026.

Meanwhile, for the management support program, said Dody, the proposed additional budget will be used of IDR 2.84 trillion for personnel expenditures and IDR 0.76 trillion for non-operational expenditures.
Dody hopes that the additional budget can be approved by the DPR so that the development target in the public work sector can continue to run optimally in 2026.
