Praise The Jeans Pants Section Promo, Trump Mocks Jaguar Cars: Stupid Ads, Total Disasters!
JAKARTA - The boss of Jaguar Land Rover (JRL), Adrian Mardell, has denied resigning due to an advertisement for the car company he had led, which was blasphemed by the President of the United States (US) Donald Trump.
Citing the BBC, Adrian reasoned that he had long planned to withdraw from Jaguar.
Trump mocked Jaguar after the company had a new CEO to replace Adrian who chose to step down. He added Jaguar was in a "total mess" and judged Jaguar "in an embarrassing state" after launching the latest ad shortly from the AE promo.
On his Truth Social platform, Trump previously compared Jaguar's ads to US clothing brand sexy promos American Eagle (AE).
AE launched a sexy controversial advertisement for its jeans featuring actress Sydney totaling, which is famous for its role in the Euphoria TV series.
Trump said AE's promo was an "POSE-FIGHT" advertiser and praised mitigation. The 27-year-old actress has recently also been said to be a Republican sympathizer.
"On the other hand, Jaguar is making a stupid ad, and it's really 'Adar', IT'S A TOTAL DISASTER!" added Trump.
"Who wants to buy Jaguar after seeing the embarrassing ad?" Trump continued.
After Adrian's resignation from the CEO's seat, Jaguar announced that the position would be filled by the financial head of his parent company Tata Motors, PB Balaji, in November 2025.
PB Balaji will be the first JLR CEO from India.
Adrian Mardell stepped down last week after 35 years leading Jaguar Land Rover. During his leadership, the company took controversial steps to remove the iconic Jaguar cat logo and focus on producing electric cars.
