Pertamax Stock At Palembang Gas Station Returns To Normal, Pertamina Urges Residents Not To Panic

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the supply of Pertamax type fuel oil (BBM) at a number of public gas stations (SPBU) in Palembang City, South Sumatra, has returned to availability after previously being empty.

Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel, Rusminto Wahyudi, said that the distribution and stock conditions of fuel, especially Pertamax, are starting to gradually recover and stabilize.

"We continue to accelerate the distribution of fuel and distribute it gradually to gas stations. As of this morning, the stock of Pertamax fuel in most gas stations is available to meet the needs of the community. For several other gas stations, it will also be fulfilled soon," said Rusminto in Palembang, Antara, Thursday, July 31.

He added that other fuel products such as Pertalite and Solar are in a safe condition and have not experienced any problems since yesterday. Distribution continues to be monitored to ensure smooth running in all regions.

To maintain smooth distribution, Pertamina coordinates with various parties, including the South Sumatra Regional Police (Polda Sumsel), which also supports securing distribution channels and supervision at gas stations.

"Support from the South Sumatra Police is very helpful, especially in ensuring that conditions in the field remain orderly and distribution runs according to the provisions," he said.

The South Sumatra Police were also involved in checking the QR Code of vehicles at gas stations to ensure that subsidized fuel was distributed on target and prevent potential abuse.

Pertamina appealed to the public not to make excessive purchases or panic buying. The company emphasized that the current fuel supply is in sufficient condition and distribution continues to be carried out in stages.
