JAKARTA - PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) is proud to launch an update for the mu-X model, which changes from exterior design to interior.

Head of Marketing Development & Digitalization of PT Astra International Tbk, Catharina Bathari Dharmastuti, said, Isuzu mu-X 4WD is a vehicle designed, not only to bring users to a point, but also to provide a new, more modern face driving experience, a special Isuzu DNA machine, and more resilient in all terrains.

Starting from more sophisticated safety technology, higher quality driving comfort, as well as off-road capabilities that make you more confident," he said, during the launch at the GIIAS 2025 event.

The New Isuzu mu-X 4WD update offers a more bold and dynamic appearance, which can be seen from Dynamic Grille with a typical Isuzu design where the hexagonal gritch pattern depicting Isuzu products globally, then the Dynamic Blades Headlights embedding which offers better energy efficiency but still provides more maximum lighting in dark conditions, the Air Curtain Function makes the front look more dynamic and gives an elegant impression, and does not miss the Embrace Line Rear Combination Lamps which provides more maximum lighting in the back area.

Entering the cabin also gets a refresher in the form of a new design that is more modern and comfortable, thus becoming a means of transportation right on challenging terrains. This new design gives a more spacious interior impression but still emits a tough aura, supported by the head of the advanced touch screen unit connected Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Regarding the heartburn, this car is equipped with an RZ4E 1.9L Turbo Diesel engine which has been proven to offer an abundance of 150 PS with large torques of up to 350 Nm in the engine spin range of 1,800 - 2,600 rpm. Common Rail technology that has long been developed by Isuzu has been proven to be able to increase fuel efficiency, without reducing the maximum energy that can be produced.
