The Government Needs To Prepare The Worst Scenarios To Face The COVID-19 Mutation Virus After Eid
JAKARTA - Member of Commission IX DPR RI Netty Prasetiyani reminded the government to prepare the worst scenario in dealing with the new variant of COVID-19 that has entered Indonesia. In particular, the potential for the spread of the virus after Eid al-Fitr 2021. "The government needs to prepare a worst-case scenario that is very possible for us to face after Eid al-Fitr," said Netty, Thursday, May 6. "This injures the humanity of all Indonesian people because it is a crime against humanity," said Netty.
It is known that the mutated corona virus from India was found in 2 incidents in Jakarta, precisely in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the mutated corona virus from South Africa that was found in Bali was 1 incident. The mutated corona virus from the UK has been confirmed as many as 13 incidents to date. Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin did not disclose the details of the mutation in question is variant B.1.1.7, B.1.617, or other mutations. He only confirmed that the 16 incidents were categorized as variants of concern or mutations that were considered by WHO.
