JAKARTA - The Antonov An-24 passenger plane carrying 46 passengers and crew lost communication in the Amur Region, Russia, according to emergency response services to TASS.

"An An-24 operated by Angara Airlines failed to make contact at a checkpoint set several kilometers from Tynda Airport," a source said, launching TASS July 24.
