15 Provincial Government Offices In Iran Closed Due To Extreme Heat Completing State Electricity Supply

JAKARTA - The extreme heat wave that hit Iran shrank the supply of water and electricity in most parts of the Middle Eastern country.

While extreme temperatures have been recorded since Friday last week, they are expected to subside gradually starting tomorrow Thursday.

Provincial government offices (Pemprov) in Iran have been ordered to close today, Wednesday, July 23.

The policy of closing 15 provincial government offices out of a total of 31 provinces in Iran, including the capital Tehran, is in an effort to conserve water and electricity.
